This piece took us a year. Creating The Dragon demanded pungency of wit: we had to solve numerous technical and artistic puzzles. There is no soldering all the details are connected with little screws. The result has exceeded our expectations. The Dragon not only received positive feedback – it was sold at the auction Out of the Ordinary (Christie’s) in 2016.

The Dragon is made of more than a thousand details: parts of musical instruments, clock mechanisms, gears, brass nails, a multilayered net (silver, brass, bronze), microscope lenses, carburetor parts, ancient spoons and forks, jewel bearings (rubies), candlestick parts, uniform buttons, Tibetan bells, binocular lenses, umbrella parts, kerosene lamp parts, door handles, dog collar parts, etc.
